iPhone 6 Concepts In All-Black, Unbreakable Sapphire Screen

What will the iPhone 6 look like? Amidst the latest rumor that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is field testing a 4.9-inch iPhone 6, we continue to see new concepts for it. This new one is interesting because it looks a lot like the Galaxy Nexus. In fact, the creator admits that he got the idea from looking at his Nexus.
Apple iPhone 6

iPhone 6 like Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus?

Needless to say, this concept probably won’t be anything like what the iPhone 6 will look like. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will be opening itself up to a whole new range of patent lawsuits from Samsung if it does follow this route. Nonetheless, it is interesting because if this one creator prefers the look of the Galaxy Nexus over that of the iPhone, then others may as well. In other words, Apple may indeed have lost its creative edge in terms of design.

The iPhone 6 concept was posted on Gdeluxe.com, and the creator calls it “a clean slate of glass” with “an all around [sic] smooth edge.” He has done away with all hardware buttons, suggesting that physical buttons are outdated.

The creator added a new sensor which “knows when you are interacting with your phone.” He also added next generation TouchID which recognizes swipe gestures of the fingers. The edges are smooth, and the power, volume and silent buttons are at the top of the phone. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s logo becomes a sensor button for the camera.

Another especially interesting part of this iPhone 6 concept is the size: just 4.7 inches. Sounds like he isn’t expecting Apple to increase the screen size of the handset beyond five inches either.

iPhone 6 with even smaller screen

And as the whole world clamors for the iPhone 6 to have a bigger screen, there’s another new concept posted on iTechNow.com which features an even smaller screen. The 4.4-inch screen is made of unbreakable sapphire, an idea which undoubtedly comes from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s deal with sapphire maker GT Advanced Technologies(NASDAQ:GTAT).
