iPhone 5S to be Released in August, iPad 5 in April

According to the latest rumors Apple will release the next-generation of iPad, named iPad 5, in April, at the same event with iPad Mini 2. This year, Apple will introduce a new smartphone, which will be a cheaper version of the iPhone. Its name is unknown in this moment.

The iPhone 5S release date is rumored for August and it will be available in many colors.

Both smartphones will share the same design, although iPhone 5S will have an updated processor, the A7 and other specifications. The design will not be changed, it will be similar to the iPhone 5's design.

It is also believed that the iPhone 5S will include a new technology to his list of expected iPhone 5S features. The smartphone “will have a fingerprint chip under the Home button, improving security and usability."

“Apple is not going to release iPads that costs more or don't get as good battery life as the current models. So, if the next iPad mini does end up getting slated for April, it could be a spec bump, or have something other than Retina as a differentiator,” is reported.

iPhone 5S will have a 7.6 mm thickness, while the low-cost iPhone will be 8.2 mm thick. They will run iOS 7 and will share the same battery and camera capabilities.

iPhone 5S price is estimated to be between $600-$700 and the cheaper iPhone might start at a price of $350-$450.

The iPhone 5S is expected to reach between 14 million and 20 million units over the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2013, the low-cost version of Apple smartphone will be bought by over 34 million persons during the same period of time.

Apple have yet to confirm the rumors details regarding the iPhone 5S or the iPad 5.
