Apple fanboys should discount the possibility that wireless charging will come right out of the box for the rumoured mid-2013 release of the iPhone 5S, and the same goes with its budget version.

A new report surfaced Wednesday saying that the iPhone 5S will feature a fingerprint sensor hidden beneath the home button.
True, the Samsung Galaxy S4, which is set for a grand debut later this week, could be proudly brandishing the capability, but Apple will not be tempted to follow suit, according to a report by 9to5Mac.
The Apple-centric blog site dismissed earlier suggestions, coming from Taiwan-based DigiTimes, that the iPhonerefresh this year will include wire-free charging, with the tech giant apparently adopting on what is increasingly becoming a smartphone standard.
But 9to5Mac argues that no major revisions will be seen from Apple for 2013, stressing that this year is an 'S' period for the tech giant. Like the 4S before it, the iPhone 5S will be pretty much the same handset that was released last year save for the introduction of A7 computing chip, the fingerprint sensor and more colour options.
So aside from being more of an eye-candy, faster and a more secured mobile phone, the iPhone 5S will offer no more, the same report said.
In fact, top Apple executive Phil Schiller dismissed the notion that wireless charging actually adds up to gadget convenience because the charger that comes with the iPhone is able enough to provide many ways of powering up the handset.
"Having to create another device you have to plug into the wall is actually, for most situations, more complicated," 9to5Mac reported Mr Schiller as saying.

Apple believes that the pressure is on Samsung this time around, analysts said, following reports that the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S outstripped the Galaxy S3 in Q4 2012, which allowed the company to snatch back the smartphone crown it lost to theAndroid phone maker in Q3 2012.
Essentially, Apple is dictating the tempo and it will not be prodded to chew in, at least not at the moment, phone features that are now available to Android and Windows devices, experts said.
