Samsung Smart TV Cameras Hacked

You stare at your TV for hours at end, isn't it about time they start staring back at you? Samsung put cameras in their telescreens smart TVs, so they could be controlled by gestures. Hackers have found another use for those cameras: spying. The hackers could use a recently revealed exploit to use the camera to spy on users, as well as gain access to social elements of the TV. The developers who found the hack have made the process available to Samsung, so they can fix the TVs with a future update. In the mean time, you could try covering the camera on your TV, if you're worried that someone might be spying on you.
